Description

Our patient underwent a revision rhinoplasty. In preservation rhinoplasty, the cartilage to bony junction of the nasal hump is preserved and the dorsum in let down using boney osteomies. The nasal tip is struturally lifted and defined using cartilage grafts.
In addition, she underwent a deep plane facelift and necklift. In this operation, the facelift is performed with incisions in front of the ear and into the hairline to access and elevate the SMAS tissue which forms the fat and ligaments of the face. The necklift is performed through a small chin incision and the deep platysma muscles of the face are elevated and suspended in the midline and behind the ears.
