Elizabeth Harris, MD


Elizabeth Spinuzza Harris is a board-certified plastic surgeon and has been in private practice since 1993. With almost 30 years of experience, she specializes in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the breast.

Dr. Harris’ unique backgrounds includes an extensive training in art. She was awarded an art scholarship grant in college and has continued a lifelong study in many different aspects of art including oil painting, pastels, printmaking, and figure drawing. Her work has won awards at juried art exhibits and has been selected for display in galleries. Her medical knowledge of anatomy and plastic surgery techniques combined with her artistic understanding of the proportions and beauty of the body allows her to create natural, aesthetic results that enhance a woman’s body.

Dr. Harris completed her medical school training at Northwestern University. She completed both her General Surgery residency and her Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Virginia. While studying at the University of Virginia, she completed a year of research evaluating “Factors Responsible for Minimizing the Formation of Scars”. 

She is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the prestigious American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.  She is a member of the Northwestern University Medical Alumni Board and works as a mentor for medical students and residents preparing for a career in surgery.  

Currently, Dr. Harris primarily specializes in plastic surgery of the breast which includes breast lifts, breast reductions, augmentation, gynecomastia reduction, and correction of breast developmental disorders. She also performs abdominoplasties (tummy tucks) and liposuction of the body.

She is married and has two children. She continues to create art and enjoys time with her Labrador retrievers.

Candis H. Layton, APRN, FNP-C

Nurse Injector

Candis grew up in Phoenix, Arizona realizing at a very young age that she had a passion for healthcare and knew that that was the career path she would take. As a high school student she acquired her Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) certificate. Candis graduated from high school continuing to work as a CNA while also completing her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at the University of North Carolina. Her education continued as she completed her Master’s Of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Texas at Arlington to become a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

The majority of Candis’ career has been in the field of Labor and Delivery identifying, maintaining and measuring standard patient care as well as emergent care. Her expertise expands extensively into other areas of Labor and Delivery to include medicine distribution, creating and implementing individualized health care plans for mothers and their babies and assisting with cesarean sections. Candis has a natural proficiency for providing a safe, calm, and comfortable relationship with her patients. 

Candis’ experience and her innate abilities to connect with her patients were recognized providing her with an opportunity to advance her career into plastic surgery. Candis is trained as a nurse injector and her acquired skills from Labor and Delivery became an asset in her new field of focus. Candis operated a plastic surgery clinic, consulted with patients, assisted in procedures in the operating room, and implemented post-surgery patient care. Her expertise extends to injecting fillers and neuromodulators.

Candis’ experience as a nurse practitioner has enabled her to develop a strong work ethic and dedication to the safety and well-being of every patient. Developing strong relationships with her patients that encompass mutual respect as well as safe effective medical care for her patients is her passion. 

Candis is the mother of five beautiful children and a furry golden retriever. In her spare time she continues to enjoy the outdoors as well as spending time with her family. She is an avid runner and hiker which has given her opportunities to run several marathons and a couple of north rim to south rim Grand Canyon hikes. She loves to play sports, her favorite being volley ball, and ride horses.

Practice Manager

Dena holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration in Market Strategy and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Human Resources Major. She enjoys contributing to a medical practice that authentically cares for patients and provides outstanding care. In her spare time, she spends time with her family and enjoys time outdoors.

Donna Prescott

Head Nurse

Donna earned her BSN at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX. She brings with her many years of experience working in the operating room. She’s a veteran of the US Army,  serving four years as an operating room technician. She loves spending time with her family, gardening, playing golf, and traveling.
