Bailey Minehart
Reconstructive Surgeon
Dr. Bailey Minehart was born in Houston, Texas, where she lived until her family moved to Omaha, Nebraska. She completed the remainder of her elementary and high school education in Omaha before her family returned to their Texas roots. She attended Southern Methodist University for her undergraduate studies and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Anthropological Studies. During her undergraduate years, she was fortunate to be part of the Mugello Valley Archaeology Project, performing an archaeological dig in Tuscany, Italy. This experience sparked her interest in combining her love of science with the meticulous use of her hands.
Dr. Minehart then obtained her Doctorate in Medicine from Texas A&M University, graduating in the top 1% of her class. During this time, she was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as a junior member. During her medical school training at Baylor Scott & White University Hospital in Dallas, Texas, she developed a passion for reconstructive surgery and head and neck anatomy, leading her to pursue a residency position in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
She attended Louisiana State University in New Orleans for her Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency and immediately fell in love with the art and delicacy of facial plastic surgery. During her rigorous residency, she encountered many patients who had lost their self-confidence due to devastating and disfiguring cancers of the head and neck. This experience fueled her passion for reconstructive surgery and its role in restoring patients’ sense of self.
Dr. Minehart believes that the face is more than just an appearance; it is the most important tool people have to present themselves to the world and convey their story to others. Most recently, she has matched into a fellowship with Dr. Jose E. Barrera at the Texas Center for Facial Plastics and Laser Surgery. She is very excited and eager to learn from Dr. Barrera’s expertise and looks forward to her year of fellowship training.
Tina Gomez-Garza

Tina, warm and gregarious, has dedicated the last 25 years to healthcare in a variety of roles. Currently, Tina is pursuing her Bachelors in Healthcare Administration. She has numerous years of experience in Texas State Registered and Certified leadership Pharmacy Technician and Nationally Certified Medical Biller and Coder. Tina also holds certification of completion as an Licensed Vocational Nursing.
As the Office Manager, Tina works with patients from their initial contact with the practice and follows them closely throughout their care. When you are interested in a cosmetic or surgical procedure, Tina will be delighted to work with you to ensure the process is an enjoyable and stress-free experience for you. She also handles the surgical scheduling for the practice and is here to help you with any questions you may have.
In addition, Tina is also our clinical research coordinator, which is part of Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulation Therapy, and FDA approved study. Her favorite part of her job is working with the patients and serving as a compassionate resource throughout the patient’s care.Tina is eager to assist you in any way necessary to make your experience with our office as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
