Dr. Jose Barrera, MD has teamed up with facial plastic surgeons from Toronto, Johns Hopkins, Baylor, and Germany to assist in humanitarian care in Rwanda and Peru. The care performed by the Face the Future Foundation is non-profit and all assistance given is pro-bono. We look forward to sharing our experience and expertise while serving those less fortunate in Rwanda and Peru.

Dr. Adamson has dedicated to changing the lives of patients with facial deformities through facial plastic reconstructive surgeries. He has built a large team of some of the world’s noted surgeons and other medical professionals who accompany him to extend medical support and surgical expertise for patients seeking facial reconstruction. Face the Future is a pro bono and voluntary mission which Dr. Barrera has participated in over the last 5 years. The Foundation creates a unique international humanitarian medical mission model. Our mission visits are partnerships with the local country’s health care system and the outcomes benefit patients but also build medical capacity in the regions.
