Description
26-year-old female presents for nasal tip refinement, improvement in symmetry and dorsal hump removal. She underwent Septorhinoplasty with Dr. Barrera. In the procedure, the medial crura were separated sharply. Cephalic trims were performed leaving 8mm wide lower lateral cartilages. A septal extension graft, left spreader graft, and bilateral lateral crural strut grafts were previously placed. 5-0 prolene transdomal and lateral crural tensioning sutures were placed to create new domes and increase rotation, securing the lower lateral cartilages to the septal extension graft. The skin was elevated off the medial crura. A tongue-and-groove procedure was performed.
